Ticket Sales
Tickets may be purchased by phone at 828.693.0731 or toll-free at 1.866.732.8008 or in person at the Box Office. No fees are attached when purchasing tickets over the telephone or in person.
Internet Sales
Tickets to all shows are also available online. There is a per ticket handling fee of $2.50 for all tickets under $20.00 and a per ticket handling fee of $3.25 for all tickets over $20.00. In addition, each online order is also charged a $2.00 processing fee.
Tickets and Tax Donations
While refunds are not available, you may donate your tickets to Flat Rock Playhouse as a tax-deductible contribution. To receive a tax-deduction, the Box Office must receive the tickets prior to the show date. By doing so, your tickets become available for those who might have been turned away due to a sold out performance. Acknowledgement of your contribution will be mailed within two weeks of the show's close. If you plan to donate your tickets, you may do so by returning them in person or by calling the Box Office prior to your performance. Callers will need to mail their unused tickets before their contribution can be acknowledged.
Children Attending Playhouse Productions
All persons seeking admission MUST have a ticket, including children of any age. If you are considering bringing a child to the theater, feel free to contact the Box Office with any question regarding the content of the show. Although opinions on appropriate viewing may differ, we will do our best to answer your questions regarding language, violence and adult situations.
Cancelled Performances
If circumstances force Flat Rock Playhouse to cancel your scheduled performance, we will contact you to choose an alternative date.
Inclement Weather Policy
If the show is cancelled we will contact everyone who has a reservation and either exchange the tickets for another performance or issue a gift certificate.
Special Services
Flat Rock Playhouse is handicapped accessible for those with disabilities. Designated parking is located at the front and far right of the theatre. The Playhouse is equipped with an infrared listening system for the hearing impaired. Headsets are available inside the auditorium and are free with an ID. Please inform the Box Office prior to the performance if wheelchair seating will be required for anyone in your party. The house staff will happily assist those in wheelchairs to their seats.
Refreshments
Wine, beer, mixed and soft drinks, honey lemonade (a Playhouse tradition) and snacks - are available before performances and at intermission at the concession stand.
Theatre Courtesy
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. For your own safety, we ask that you remain seated until the house lights go up.
Beepers and Cell Phones
Please turn all beepers, cell phones and chiming watches to the "silent mode" while inside the theatre.
Photography
The taking of photographs or recordings of any kind during the performances is strictly prohibited.
